PDC2X2A Dual Station Charger
Charge and maintain up to two different sized batteries simultaneously (motorcycle, car, boat, jet ski, snowmobile, lawn mower, RV.)
Motobatt's intelligent microprocessor detects the voltage of the connected battery(ies). The 9-phase process monitors battery resistance hundreds of times per second throughout charging mode:
- diagnostic : checks that the battery is greater than 2 V;
- Restoration : 5 recovery modes can be initiated in case of heavily sulfated or deeply discharged batteries;
- soft start phase : voltage and current delivered at a specific rate depending on the initial state of charge;
- phase pulse : provides a high frequency charging pulse;
- reconditioning mode : reactivation of battery plates, improvement of charge depth;
- charging : delivers constant current up to approximately 80% of its capacity;
- overcharge protection : battery's ability to accept a charge up to 100%;
- control phase : verification of the battery's ability to maintain the charge correctly. If not, repeat the process 24 hours or more. If yes, go to the maintenance phase;
- maintenance phase : the battery can remain permanently connected.
Tracking steps thanks to the 7 LED indicators on the charger:
- connected : the MOTOBATT logo glows yellow;
- recovery : red;
- load : red;
- overload protection : yellow;
- fully charged / maintenance : green;
- defective battery : red;
- reverse polarity : red;
