Load resistor (82 Ohms, 5 Watt) for fuel reserve indicators.
The 82 ohm / 5 W load resistor is required for some specific fuel sensors in combination with LED indicators. For example, fuel reserve indicators, based on a thermistor, often used by Ducati, Yamaha and other brands.
Also used to divert electrical current from BMW or Moto Guzzi alternators when replacing the charging lights with LEDs.
