This locking adapter extends this protection to the Garmin zūmo XT2, XT3, XT3S, or Tread 2 Powersport mounted via the Plug & Ride adapter: the device remains in place and protected against unauthorized access as long as the motorcycle is locked.

Does this locking adapter work alone, without the Plug & Ride adapter?
No, it complements the Plug & Ride adapter (reference 21189-002), which must already be installed to integrate the Garmin into the BMW Navigator pre-installation.
Is the lock compatible with all BMW Navigator pre-installations?
No, only with the manual locking Navigator pre-installation. It is not compatible with the electronic Navigator pre-installation.
How is the Garmin locked and unlocked once the adapter is installed?
The lock uses the same mechanism as the original BMW Navigator pre-installation, operated with the motorcycle's ignition key.
What happens if I order this lock without having the Plug & Ride adapter?
The lock alone is useless without the Plug & Ride adapter (reference 21189-002), as it is precisely designed to secure the Garmin on this adapter. Remember to check that you have both references before finalizing your order.
Does this lock also protect against shocks, or only against theft?
