These pads offer dual protection against impacts and abrasion to the swingarm, wheel axle, and rear braking system. Their design incorporates two properties directly from the world of racing:
- Damping that absorbs part of the impact energy during a sudden shock.
- Friction resistance that gradually increases as the effective sliding surface widens, which shortens the sliding phase on the ground.
Why combine these pads with a crash bar?
These pads combine ideally with existing crash bar and protection systems installed on the motorcycle. In the sliding phase after a fall, the motorcycle is also supported by the axle pads, which better distributes the contact points on the ground and limits costly secondary damage to the rear wheel.
